Field Blend #2

  • Regent Market Co-op opening again for in-person shopping finally allowed me to get whole rye flour from Lonesome Stone Mill.
  • First attempt at Field Blend #2
  • baked two loaves, sequentially
  • sourdough starter taken out of the fridge and fed on day 1
  • flours: King Arthur whole wheat; Dakota Maid bread flour, Lonesome Stone Mill whole rye flour
  • baked 30 + 25 minutes
  • Nicole really likes the bread; I'm somewhat less enthusiastic
  • bread doesn't stay fresh very long
